"Art, as Beauty, is
in the eyes, ears, and touch of the beholder," - sle. Was walking the lane waiting for the school bus and Sweet Pea. Scanning the rocks looking for something special. Something to create a work of art. Then the thought came to me. What makes art? The eyes of the beholder. Makes sense to me. Now, back to the movie, My Man Godfrey, in color. Color does add to things. The U.S. economy is growing, but it proves my point that numbers can be twisted and misleading. An article came out and explained how the economy went up when prices and inflation is going up. Interesting, it wasn't good. Again, proved my point. The colorization of the movie, also, improved the resolution. Real nice. And color adds something to the movie. More details to the eyes. I love the ending. Love Carole Lombard in it. She is fantastic. Read on how she died. Plane crash due to pilot error during WWII. Leaving Vegas, I believe. The whole movie is enjoyable, but the end. Willam Powell, he is great in it, too. Love the Thin Man movies. Well, bed, then sleep. Tomorrow, not sure. Maybe shopping. About 20 minutes or so until bed, I hope. Thinking, most people don't realize how hard Janet worked at selling on Amazon. She did well. But, many people wouldn't understand that it wasn't so good until after she built up inventory and the cash flow kinda was on the plus side from the purchase of previous inventory. The costs of gas and other related costs and the time, if adding a cost to it, the profit wouldn't be so good. The cash flow however seemed nice, however, in that, the cash for gas and other expenses was paid by me and Janet elsewhere. Anyway, the cash flow was good towards the end, inventory was build up from earlier. Most people don't really understand what goes into running a successful business. My daddy never really did. I tell my class, one may do great work but doesn't mean they know how to run a business. Hard work and more. Constant hard work. One reason I stay away from running any business. The work and dealing with people. Too much of a kind heart, which my dad had, too. Tomorrow. "Morning, Steven." Sweet Pea standing in my doorway with the morning light behind her. She left out the dogs. She is something else. Got her pancakes and milk. Stomach still a little bothersome, but not too bad. My abs are getting better and my stomach pouch is getting smaller and firmer. Gotta keep going. RIP: Jerry Lee Lewis. Mr. Kenny caught me this morning. Still waking up so I sat on the couch and we talked. Reading news and checking emails. Shopping later most likely. Mr. Kenny made a couple of statements that got me thinking some. He has been more talkative for weeks now and less sulky. Think the issue with the grown boy and her. Deciding which home he might want to go to. How sad. Anyway, he is healthy. Kayakers saved a joey (kangaroo) in shark infested waters in Australia. Interesting video. Sweet Pea is walking to her friend house with a rainbow umbrella. Prettiest sight down the lane. She put a big red lipstick lips around her lips. She is bad. Haha. Mr. Jack is in the hospital. Paralyzed from the neck down. Fell down. Don't know the details. He is pretty old. How quickly life can change. God, people being shot and killed outside a funeral at a church. World is crazy! and more so everyday. Love is a Villa, nice movie. My Man Godfrey again. Going to watch a little more closely. The villa one, I saw scene I didn't see the first time. I love Carole Lombard in the movie. Just laid on the bed and watched it. Don't do that often enough. Email, news a little, then bed. Good night. God bless.
